Danish and Polish citizens can now apply for an Indian visa from Denmark. The Danish Embassy in Warsaw and the Polish Embassy in Copenhagen signed a bilateral agreement on visa facilitation on October 1st. This means that citizens of both countries can now apply for an Indian visa from either embassy, without having to go through the other’s consulate. The agreements covers a variety of areas, including mutual recognition of visas and passport stamps, as well as assistance with consular services such as issuing visas, issuing residence permits and providing assistance in reapplying for visas if required. Some countries are still not on board
Danish and Polish citizens can now apply for an Indian visa from Denmark. This means that India is now one of the few countries where Danish and Polish nationals can obtain a visa without travelling to their country of origin first.
