How to Renew Your Indian Visa
If you are in India and your visa is about to expire, there are a few things you can do to renew it. You can either apply through the Indian embassy or consulate in your home country, or go through the online process at the Indian High Commission website.
To renew your visa online, you will need to create an account and input all of the required information: your full name, date of birth, passport number, visa type (B-1/B-2), and expiry date. Once you have entered all of this information, click on “Submit”.
If you are applying through an embassy or consulate, be sure to bring along all of the necessary documents: your passport with a valid visa stamp in it, a photocopy of your passport photo page, and two recent passport-sized photos.
